Happy Fathers Day!

Happy Fathers Day to my Blainerd! We were so excited for Blaine to come home yesterday morning from his night shift so that we could celebrate. Braiden decided that we needed balloons everywhere with little messages on them like: #1 Dad, and Dad is awesome - and all other kinds of stuff that Braiden wanted to write on the balloons. It was pretty cute I think. We had a couple presents and goodies out for him for when he got home. We had a few more plans, but since we've had a sick little Caleb some of the ideas had to be scrapped. It was still a great day.

Braiden thought that this was the best card ever. It's one of those that you get to say your own little message that plays when you open the card. I'm thinking that he changed the message about 20 times before he was happy with it.
This was something we made that we put some of Blaines favorite treats into. Braiden had fun decorating it for him.

Here's Blaine with his boys at the zoo. (Also another great day!)

Blaine is the greatest dad, and he just can't get enough of the boys. He adores his boys, and they adore him right back. His favorite thing is to be with us, and I am so grateful for that. He is an amazing hubby and dad, and we know how lucky we are to have him!

Happy Fathers Day!

Tournament of champions

Today was Braidens soccer tournament. They did so great, and were so cute. I loved watching them all play their little hearts out. Braiden had such a good time.

Jumping for joy

Today we put Caleb into the jumper for the first time. He really liked it for a few minutes, and then he was definitely ready to get out. I took a video but couldn't figure how to make it work on here, so a picture is going to have to work. When we were watching the video Caleb was watching it too and couldn't look away, and as soon as it was over he would whine. So we ended up watching it a few times.
I also had to throw this one in as well. It's a common sight around here now. He won't have anything to do with a pacifier but is always grabbing your hand to suck on your finger. Crazy cute kid!

Blessing

Caleb was blessed this Sunday. Caleb was in rare form and decided to cry the entire time. I missed some of the blessing since all I could hear was Caleb. I guess he wanted to make sure he really was centre of attention! Oh how I love that little guy. After church we had a BBQ with the family. It was fun hanging out and being together, and Braiden loved having his cousins to play with this weekend. It was a great day overall!

Coal Miner Days

So this weekend was Coal Miner Days in Sparwood. For some reason we have never gone, I'm guessing that Blaine probably has always worked during them. But this year we decided to check it out. It was a lot of fun. Blaines sister and her family and also Blaines brother came down to check it out with us. I'm glad they came!

I forgot to take any pictures during the parade, so I made Braiden show me the goods he got from it - Just so I could take a picture of the "parade". He can be such a great kid - I'm sure he's thinking he'd much rather be eating the candy than standing around waiting for me to take a picture. haha But I must say the kids got a ton of candy! And doesn't that always mean that the parade was awesome? I think so!
This was also Calebs first parade. I kept trying to be the good mom and cover his ears when the fire trucks and other vehicles would put on their sirens - and he just kept getting mad at me. I guess he wanted the full experience!

After the parade we went down to the kids games. The kids seemed to really like it. Of course the highlight is always the bouncy castles.

I'm glad that we went this year - rain and all!

Another great weekend

It was so nice out this past weekend that we had to take advantage of it. We decided to go down to Kalispell and check out the area, and had to do a little shopping too. On the way back we stopped at Whitefish. We played in the sand and Braiden and I braved the water to see how cold it was - and it was freezing! I could only put my feet in for a couple seconds and had to get out.

Us at Whitefish. Braiden got a new Mario hat while we were in Kalispell and he loves it so much he refuses to take it off. He even sleeps with his hat on. Now that's devotion!

Just had to throw this in because he's just so cute!

A picnic at the park was also in order this weekend. I think that we have been so deprived of the sun that we felt that if we even spent even one minute indoors it would just be so wrong.

After the park we went for a bike ride down by the river.

I love it when Blaine has weekends off from work. It was so fun and makes me so excited for summer to finally begin.

The beginning

So I've decided to finally start one of these. I've been thinking of doing one for a very long time but haven't because honestly - I'm really not that interesting. I do like the idea of having one as sort of a family journal. So here it is.

This past weekend we went to Coeur d'Alene. We had so much fun, and definitely want to go back this summer. It is such a beautiful place

Braiden at the waterpark. He loved it!

Our smiley little guy. He is such a good baby and is easy to travel with.

My superheros!

So here are my 3 favorite people - I love them to bits! We have so much fun together

Stay tuned for more! :)
