family visit

This past week my sister-in-law and her two girls came to visit. We don't get to see them too often because they live close to Vancouver, so it's awesome when they come over. Unfortunately I took hardly any pics while they were here, but the ones I do have are when we all went for a bike ride at Henderson - and actually Shan took these pictures. So thanks Shan! :)

Here's the lovely and always crazy fun Candise
This was actually taken on the way to see them. We stopped for a couple of minutes for a quick walk to stretch our legs... then it was on the road again to see family.

Some of us setting out.

It was a great week, and I can't wait until we get to see them again!

A couple of crazies!

So here is my sister and I posing with our babies. I prefer the human kind, but each to their own! :) This was taken on Canada Day. I have to say that I think that my sister is awesome, and love hangen out with her. Growing up I'm pretty sure that I took her almost everywhere with me. Road trips to BC and the states (good times!) and even had to bring her to England with me.

So hangen out on Canada Day, what do a couple of Wilde crazy girls do with a couple of cameras handy? Take very dignified pictures of ourselves of course!

Yep, we are just that cool! And only getting cooler with time!

Skaterboy

So this summer Braiden has decided to take up skateboarding. I've tried joining him a few times, but so far I pretty much suck. So I mainly just watch him now...

Going down hill. He decided that going on the grass was a better idea after wiping out on the pavement a couple of times.
Just had to include this one 'cause I love it and think he is one cute kid!

Coeur d'Alene take 2

These past couple of days we headed back down to Coeur d'Alene. Last time it was a bit cold and rainy, so we wanted to be able to enjoy it in the sunshine, and this time we took mom and dad along. We had a great time, it's just a nice place.

Us walking around the park and lake. Checking out the place
Dad and Blaine on the bumper boats at triple play. They got absolutely soaked on those things. It was a good thing that it was such a hot day out

Caleb hangen out in the shade. He actually seemed to really like to just lie there, and he really loved the music that they had playing at the park

At Silverwood. That park was so much fun. They have both the amusement park, and waterpark. Here's Braiden at the spray park area. Again another hot day with sunburns, but so worth all of it. We had such a great time there.

Blaine and Caleb posing with Odie. Braiden liked him from a distance. After awhile the guy kneeled down so Braiden finally went up to him.

Braiden and Dad on the log ride. I love this picture of Braiden - the look on his face makes me laugh every time. After the ride he said he loved it, it just looks like he's terrified here. haha

I have to say that this is a place that we would love to keep going to visit. There is so much to do there that a few days just doesn't seem long enough. We also loved having Mom and Dad with us this time too, and of course the boys love having them around. We can always count on Dad for when Caleb is cranky. Caleb can't help but smile and laugh when his Grandpa is around. Summer is turning out to be amazing so far!

So these past few weeks we haven't done a whole lot, mainly because the boys have been taking turns feeling sick. So we have been mainly home bound. But we were able to have a great Canada Day weekend. But the most exciting thing around here is that Caleb is rolling over! He's been trying to for awhile, but just couldn't get over his shoulder. Then earlier this week he finally made it! (which is also making changing diapers not so easy)

Caleb rolling onto his tummy

Canada Day. Hangen' out at mom and dads. It was a really fun day. We played volleyball, ate only red and white stuff (mom got quite creative), and just talked and laughed. It was a great day all round!
